The nearest airport is conveniently located, making it easy to start my escape as soon as possible. Castle Stuart Golf Links and Aviemore are within a reasonable distance, so I can avoid any hint of exercise during my stay.
Oh joy, towels were offered, just what I always wanted - soggy souvenirs to take home with me. Great.

We had a wonderful stay at a lovely cottage in a superb location. This was our second visit this year and we will definitely be back, hopefully for longer than one night. the cottage was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our visit. We enjoyed a delicious meal at a nearby restaurant, only a two minute walk away. One of the highlights was the beautiful beach at Rosemarkie, which was just a five minute drive from the cottage. Cons: Nothing, all great! 😊.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Clematis Cottage in Fortrose. The house was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed for our family of 5. The location was perfect, close to Chanonry Point and within easy reach of local amenities. The cottage had a lovely garden and the upstairs bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the supply of logs for the fire, especially during the cold weather. We highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area.

The upstairs bedrooms are cozy and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a good supply of logs for the fire.
The downstairs bedroom can get quite cold and the thermostat is locked, making it difficult to adjust the temperature.

Big space for family or groups. Comfy sofas for lounging. Well-equipped kitchen. Convenient village location with amenities nearby. Lovely garden for summer enjoyment. Cozy fire with ample supply of logs. Excellent location to explore Rosemarkie and nearby attractions.
Thick duvets may be too warm for some. Downstairs bedroom was cold in winter, but heating did come on.

The cottage had a perfect location for exploring the nearby attractions and was close to a beautiful point. It was tidy and clean inside, with all the necessary amenities available.
The heating system was quite inconvenient, as we couldn't adjust the thermostat ourselves and had to rely on preset timings. the downstairs bedroom was particularly cold, especially during the winter months.
